A second event took place the following morning -
"Four Houses - One School". Matthew Hyde, a
local architectural historian, together with Clare Pye, head of history from 1985-1998, gave lively and informative talks. They covered not only the
history of the houses and how they were built, but
also how the houses worked and the families that
lived there before St.Hilary's bought them.
